Saturday

Yay, it's Saturday, and that brings with it the usual hunt for dancing shoes. Every blimming Saturday one of the girls have misplaced their shoes but they only realise that five minutes before they have to leave for dance club! So we had that usual scenario this morning. I ask them to get their kit ready before going to bed, but there must be somewhere special that mummy words float to, some sort of massive void somewhere.

On to better and brighter things. Lou is working for a new download collection for Charmed Cards & Crafts, this time Holly & Madison goes around the world! You've already seen Holly goes to the USA so you know something great is coming your way. I was doodling a little the other night and drew a little girl, I always wanted a series of seated and reclining figures so decided to draw one. A new download collection is coming some time in the future based on the style of my little girl so watch out for that.

This is a pencil drawing so it's not as clearly defined as our downloads. Why is it that my cards often look at though they are wider on the top in the pictures? Must be the way I photograph them as that certainly isn't how they are.

Had a few mishaps with the Copics, grabbed the wrong colours and so on, so it didn't get coloured in quite as intended. Copics used here are: YR04, YR23, R08, YR09, YR07, R20, E00,E21 and a few more earth tones I forgot to write down.

So girl image my own drawing, Prima flowers, punches pine branches, Basic Grey brads, K&Co pearls. Background paper is K&Co Cut 'n Paste layered on brown bazzill. The round circles under the flowers are K&Co Margo die-cut tags and the border Basic Grey Urban Prairie.

... and now I better start thinking about my DT card for Dottie's World's Sunday challenge. See you tomorrow. xxx
