Another Birthday Party

I was looking at birthday cards yesterday as the girls are going to a party today - how expensive are they??!!! I quickly abandoned that idea and made one myself (well I should do anyway, right?). I always put the recipients name on the card when it is for a child, and it always delights. They just love seeing their name in print.

Glossy Accents used for balloons, age and name, Stickles glue dotted on background. Can't get the natural lighting today so had to use the flash. It does show the Glossy Accents though :o)

At LAST!

Finally the new Prima arrived! I've never waited so long for an order! But girls, I did enjoy unpacking all those boxes! My oh my what wonderful goodies!!! Rich colours, beautiful quality, well you lot would have been in stash heaven!!! It's not often I can say that there isn't anything I don't like, but I can this time - I simply love it all. The large 12" x 12" sheets of clear stamps are quite frankly spectacular, the papers are all divine, the flowers delectable, the chipboard utterly scrumptious and the rest is equally as gorgeous!

Want to have a look? Go on then, I'll let ya! :o)

Couldn't Resist!

I just had to have a quick go at the new Cat Collection. This is the super cool "Sleepy Cat" graphic.

I use white acrylic paint, applied with a feathery brush, for the edge, glossy accents on mouse and nose, K&Co Chipboard and Maya Road Rub-ons, as well as other bits and bobs.

Funky Kitties!

Wow, oh wow! Take a look at the new Cat Collection designed by the wonderful Louise Brigden! I am totally in awe of Lou's amazing talent! Stand by for some example cards using this collection. Use the Dottie Blinkie in the sidebar to get your hands on it :o)

Coloured in by me. The images in the bundle are all in black & white.

Golfing George

Here is another card using the "George at Work" collection available on our website (click the Dottie blinkie in the sidebar). The George collections are fantastic for all your masculine cards, and lets face it, we all need a little help with those!

Layering used as always, as well as Glossy Accents.

Double Dottie Hybrid Card

Oh what a glorious morning! This is the ideal weather for me, if only it would stay like this and not get any hotter. I hope you are enjoying the sunshine wherever you are.

Here is another digi hybrid card I made for Dottie's World. It employs a liberal use of Glossy Accents to really bring that rain to life. Look how easy it is to manipulate the graphics to the size you want! Lollipop Lady from the "Dottie at Work" bundle, Little wet Dottie from "Fun time Dottie". Click here to download these bundles.

As a contributor I have designed a series of digi hybrid cards for Dottie's World. Here is the first featuring "Green Fingered George" from the George at Work bundle.
