Copic Challenge #2

I have been looking forward to this second challenge from the Copic Challenge Blog and actually managed to do it on the first day!

The challenge was to use the following colours:

  • B02 - Robin's Egg Blue
  • R05 - Salmon Red
  • YG23 - New Leaf
I only had B02, the other two I had to improvise and get as close as I could, which was R08 and YG13

These were the markers I used for the image:

I used the wonderful Madison in the Garden image from the Holly & Madison bundle. Cosmo Cricket background paper; green bazzill embossed with a Cuttlebug folder; Prima flowers, Hot Off The Press brads; Basic Grey Urban Prairie Flower, bee and borders.

Thanks for popping by, I appreciate your visit xx

Colour Combo - Blue & Brown

The challenge this week on the Basic Grey Challenge blog is "Colour Combo". I can't recall ever using just blues and browns so decided to have a go with that combination. I did enjoy this and really like the outcome. I can't quite get the colour right on the picture but it is browns and blues.

Another image from the Holly & Madison bundle, coloured in with Copics. Basic Grey Periphery papers. HOTP small blue brads, Large Prima brad for the flower and Prima lace ribbon. Bazzill Flowers. Maya Road Rub-Ons. Pine branches cut with my McGill punch.

Copics used for my image are: E00, E21, R32, E04, E35, E37, B14, RV06, E02, E04, E15, N1, C2, C3, B32, B34, B45, N3

Thank you for visiting. Have a wonderful Sunday xxx

Blast from the Past

The challenge on Dottie's World is "A Blast from the Past" whereby you take an old card and "update it" on a new card. The exact specs were: "I want you to dust off one of your old cards and make a new one following the exact same layout but use different papers and a different image." I found this quite hard as I didn't particularly like my earlier work, but a challenge is a challenge so here we go.

This is the new card

which is a based on this old Christmas card.

The gorgeous Madison Cowgirl image can be yours just by entering the challenge, so what are you waiting for? :-

Copics used for my Cowgirl image is: B21, B23, B24, R20, E00, E02, E33, E43, E51, E38, E37, YO2, YO6, Y15, Y17, G12, G14, G16. The pop-up flowers and frames were cut on my Silhouette. Basic grey Mellow papers, various Basic Grey buttons.
