Basic Grey Wassail

I have been busy busy busy making cards for the DT pages on Charmed. I always worry that they aren't as good as those from my design team but what the heck, I own the joint so in they go LOL
The Wassail papers and embellishments really do go far, I have loads left over so may make some more when I get time.

Karen Leahy also created LOADS of fabulous Wassail projects for Charmed, they are all on site now. Karen really is a wonderfully talented lady, not only that but she is a wonderful person inside too! Pop over to Charmed and see what she made for us :o)

Ellie The Elephant

I am slowly working my way through the new Animal Download collection and this time I'm showcasing Ellie Elephant, isn't she a pretty creature? And very clever too, just look how she can jump through hoops! This is my card for the Monday Mojo spot over on Dottie's World.

I am also giving away the word sentiment so if you want it then just drop me a line. Click this link to the Charmed site and write your details in the online form. Usual restrictions apply, personal use only etc etc.

Colour me Silly

Juliet set the challenge today on Dottie's World:

The challenge this week is inspired by fireworks and, as we were limited to one colour last week, this week I want to see LOTS OF COLOURS on your cards - the more the merrier! As usual, you must include one of the Charmed Downloads too, so get those papers out and start creating!!!

Well I took Juliet literally about colouring silly and splodged some green and red paint all over Scruff and Birdie from the new Animal Magic collection, much to Scruff's dismay - just look at his expression when I then proceeded to plant a Santa hat on his furry little head!!

I don't think he was overly amused! The next two pictures shows the layering in more detail:

Dream Street Papers and Basic Grey papers. The two furry/feathered friends were printed on white Bazzill, which was inked with red Tim Holtz Distress Ink. The layered tree was made from scraps of paper and edged with Snow Writer, as was Scruff's hat. Gold hand-sewed border. Sentiment created in MS Word. Felt Poinsettia from the new K&Co Christmas Cheer collection. Oh and glossy accents and a little glamour dust where needed.

I have the Monday Mojo spot on Dottie's World so pop back tomorrow and see what I did with Ellie the Elephant, PLUS I will have a freebie for you ;o)
