Colour me Silly

Juliet set the challenge today on Dottie's World:

The challenge this week is inspired by fireworks and, as we were limited to one colour last week, this week I want to see LOTS OF COLOURS on your cards - the more the merrier! As usual, you must include one of the Charmed Downloads too, so get those papers out and start creating!!!

Well I took Juliet literally about colouring silly and splodged some green and red paint all over Scruff and Birdie from the new Animal Magic collection, much to Scruff's dismay - just look at his expression when I then proceeded to plant a Santa hat on his furry little head!!

I don't think he was overly amused! The next two pictures shows the layering in more detail:

Dream Street Papers and Basic Grey papers. The two furry/feathered friends were printed on white Bazzill, which was inked with red Tim Holtz Distress Ink. The layered tree was made from scraps of paper and edged with Snow Writer, as was Scruff's hat. Gold hand-sewed border. Sentiment created in MS Word. Felt Poinsettia from the new K&Co Christmas Cheer collection. Oh and glossy accents and a little glamour dust where needed.

I have the Monday Mojo spot on Dottie's World so pop back tomorrow and see what I did with Ellie the Elephant, PLUS I will have a freebie for you ;o)
