Blog Candy with a Twist!

What a blog candy!! Fancy getting your hands on 72 Copic markers?? No you didn't read that wrong - I really did say 72!!!

Charmed Cards & Crafts have teamed up with Graphics Direct Ltd to bring you this fantastic prize. Graphics Direct Ltd are without doubt the cheapest place to get your Copics', and with outstanding customer service to boot. Although we sell several markers, such as Le Plume, we highly recommend Graphics Direct Ltd for THE place to get your Copics'.
The twist is that we want you to link to a project on your blog (in your comment) that either uses a download or a stamped image that you coloured in.
  • Link to a card you made with a download or a stamped image (does NOT have to be one of ours)
  • If you are using one of the Charmed Cards & Crafts downloads then you get two chances (please enter two comments, in the second just write "my second chance). All entries will be checked.
  • Please mention the candy on your blog.

This will run until 10th April. This post will stay on top until then. The final draw will be entirely random.
GOOD LUCK!! x

UPDATE 11th APRIL: The candy is now closed, comment entered from today will not be counted towards the draw, which will take place Easter Monday. Thank you so much to all who entered xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Bundle of Joy...

Have you seen the new Spring range of stamps by Rachelle Anne Miler? We received them for the shop last week (click here to see them) and I had to have a play with the new "Bundle of Joy" stamp. Coupled with that I just got the rest of the new Spellbinders dies in yesterday(here they are) and the 12" Borderbilities dies are gorgeous!!! I just had to use one. I also used some of our new lace on my card, it's just so gorgeous and I had been dying to use it. So a combination of quite a few new goodies here.

I used half of my Borderbilities border for the top.

I decided to decorate the inside too this time.
Here I have taken part of the image and matted it on a circle cut with a scallopedNestabilities die. I used the second half of my new Borderbilities die here.

I'll jot down exactly what I used here:
Bundle of Joy Rachelle Anne Miller stamp coloured with Copic markers
Nestabilites dies: Scalloped quare and Scalloped Circle
Borderbililties die: Classic Lace
Paper: Imaginisce Baby Powder, K&Co Itsy Bitsy Paper Pad, White and Blue ATC cardstock
Imaginisce Baby Powder Brad
Imaginisce Baby Powder Baby Boy Rub-Ons
Maya Road Sheer Flower coloured blue with a Copic marker
White Lace
Tim Holtz broken china Distress ink

Reminder: Today is the last day for the Copic candy (you have up until midnight). Wow we have received a huge amount of entries!!! The actual draw will take place Easter Monday so the very best of luck!!
Don't forget the new candy on our new Delectable Stamp blog.

Copic Challenge

Time for another challenge on the Copics Challenge Blog. The design team were each sent a stamp from this weeks sponsors, Toodle and Binks to use on our projects. Here is my finished card using that stamp:

The required colours today are:

I didn't have two of those colours so picked appropriate shades closest to them.
These were all my colours used for colouring the main image:

Sunday Challenge - Bright and Beautiful

Time for another Dottie's World challenge. Juliet set the challenge today and it was a good one: "All things bright and Beautiful". Juliet wanted to see bright colours, plus of course one of the Charmed downloads. This is my card:

The image is a digi-stamp from the Girls about Town bundle. The gorgeous Daisy Lace trim is newly in at Charmed Cards & Crafts and will be uploaded to the site later today. Prima flowers, punched leaves (McGill punch), frame and corners cut on Silhouette.

I hope you will join us in the challenge. Pop over to Dottie's World and check out the other projects by the DT.

Thanks for looking. Have a lovely Sunday. xxx
