Sweet May Candy

This post will stay on top. Please scroll down for new posts.

Time to put the spotlight on some sweet candy; there is no better candy than this as it's entirely sugar free and you can indulge without feeling guilty :-) At Charmed Cards & Crafts we love to give you something back, and what better way than with a bundle of tempting candy!?!

The candy this time comprises the fabulous new Tim Holtz "Compendium of Curiosities" book, carrying on with Tim Holtz we have one of the new 12" x 12" idea-ology Paper Pads, plus I decided that a set of the super duper stamp sets by The Girls Paperie would fit right in with the "altered/vintage" theme.

If you would like a chance to win this superb bundle of goodies then please post about the candy on your blog with a link back to here, then enter your blog link to the candy in Mr Linky below (once only please). It's as simple as that. The candy will be chosen via random.org at the end of the month.

GOOD LUCK XXX

Easel Card Challenge

Enjoying the Bank Holiday yet? So far it's been a total wash-out here in London with rain all day Saturday and blimming cold. Had to put the heating back on; oh the joys of an English summer! Hopefully today and Monday will be better, fingers crossed.

BUT because of the dire weather it was a perfect day for a spot of crafting, so I spent some time creating my challenge card for Dottie's World. I set the challenge this week and I want to see EASEL CARDS! If you don't know how to make one then I created a little tutorial ages ago on the main Charmed site HERE. So an easel card, with a Charmed download of course. Here is my effort:

I used a Mikey image from the Mikey Bundle which I coloured with my Copics - must start writing the colours down again, I will do I promise. Wroom sticker is a Imaginisce Let's Roll Vinyl sticker.

On the bottom I used another Let's Roll sticker (the arrow), some ribbon from the same range and the road paper is likewise from that range. I painted some wooden buttons in black and popped an extra large green pearl on top of each one to make it look a little like the buttons are tyres.

Why is it is so darn difficult to get a good picture on a dark day? If you see any good card picture taking tutorials anywhere let me know please.

Please pop over and join in, we would love to see your creations. The design team has created some fabby examples for you.

Have a great Bank Holiday. I'll be drawing my candy tomorrow so see you then - GOOD LUCK to all who entered xx
